Welcome to our travel blog. Our primary aim is to keep family and friends home up to date with what we get up to when travelling. Hopefully some other people might find our experiences interesting or helpful as well.

Originally we started this blog to track our travels to Australia for Christmas 2011 and onwards, we had to change our plans early in 2012 and return home for a stretch. At some point the blog evolved into an account of any travels, holidays or days out that we think might be of interest and/or make you jealous. We are giving the site a new look to coincide with our plans to renew our more adventurous travel plans in December 2012.

We did Australia, but there’s still so much left to see. So keep your eyes peeled for updates from a few days in Bangkok before spending Christmas 2012 in Fiji. Then it’s onto New Zealand to fulfill a travel plan we finalised over a year ago but haven’t completed yet. From there, who knows?! But rest assured you’ll find out when we get there!

Blogs will be written by either David or Sally and will include the pick of our photos to make sure you are as jealous as possible.

If you’re looking for an awesome northside place to drink Mecca’s coffee (among others) head to Salvage Coffee in Wilkes AVE, Artarmon. To give Toby’s a try, it’s best to stick to either their roastery in Chippendale or the nearby cafe 80 Bay in Bay Street Ultimo. Workshop Espresso in the Galleries Victoria also do an excellent job with Toby’s Estate Coffee.
